BJ, the waterfall reminds me of my childhood. I used to cycle there from Kampar and BBQ chicken wing next to the waterfall, when we feel too hot, that's the place to cool our body. Ha!

Hope someone can id it by looking at this upper side shot. Is a small butt. It landed in front of me, opened up and within a few seconds it disappeared.

Les, it was shot at the foot of the hill. It was just behind the toilet along a hedge of shrubs @ Gua Tempurung.

    Fed,
Is the above from the small hut near the waterfall, where we saw many Autumn Leaf and Eggfly ?
Here probably is the upper side of this butterfly, which is likely to be Neptis nata gononata.

    Yong, thanks for pointing out.

    Yes, that is the place.
Looking at the uppersides forewing cell streak, it does show a slight difference from Neptis hylas papaja (Common Sailor).

Comparing the undersides of Common Sailor ( N. hylas papaja )shot at WWW, Singapore and the probable Neptis nata gononata that we shot at Lata Kijang, Perak.
