    Kurt ,

For a starter , these are excellent shots!

My first few butterfly shots when I first started, all cannot make it !!!

The first one is Appias nero figulina (Orange Albatross)

Ther second one is Saletara liberia distanti (The Malaysian Albatross)

Marcus, I think that was the Faunis kirata (Broad-Striped Faun) that Les was mentioning about. He should be able to confirm it.

Here's my last few shots to share.

    Xanthotaenia busiris busiris (Yellow Barred)

    Taxila haquinus haquinus (Harlequin)

From the arrangement and equal size of fore and hind wing white ocelli ; the size of median band and dark tornal area , it fits the Key description in C&P4 as Faunis kirata , also visually as depicted in C&P4 Plate 18 figure12 and Pisuth Plate 47 A3.

    Cheers!

In the spirit of science, there really is no such thing as a 'failed experiment.' Any test that yields valid data is a valid test.

Sorry, but it is not Saletara. This is one of the Appias species I mentioned in an earlier comment.
