Hi,
Processing already started. Based on the latest preliminary list, should be 70 species recorded (as predicted by you) for the trip.![]()
Our total species count for Kampar (including SG's common species) could outnumber AHBT. Perhaps, we should support CM's request for a Kampar checklist.![]()
CM: I still owe you S$ and MYR.

Hi CP, money wise, we can settle later.
Please bear in mind that the areas/places that you covered for the past weekend is very much larger than AHBT, it is no suprise that the species found will outnumbered AHBT. To me, AHBT is just a short trail which cater for close to hundred species is already a great achievement! I would not be suprise if the species seen at the area we covered last weekend matches the total number species in Singapore, if you really do a proper survey. Therefore, it is not fair to compare in this way.
With regards to the checklist, I was actually suggesting to have different photo for different checklist as the current checklist does feature some Malaysia species in the Malaysia checklist but the photos are shared. That's why we were discussing the possibility that perhaps a differenct checklist to cater for different state/area in Malaysia using the local photos.
A kind note to all, which is if you really want to classify the actual origin of the butterflies that you shot, it should not be label them as "butterflies from Kampar" simply because the area you covered as I mentioned above, is very much equivalent to the size of a Singapore island if you take the distant you travel from the Noth to the South
