    Arhopala aedias is correct.

The Hasora should be H. malayana.
In comparing Yutaka images of the 2 species, the only real difference is.

    H. taminatus. HW band becomes diffuse, vague, or streaked out upwards.

    H. malayana HW band remains relatively intact, white & fairly clear upwards.

This one from Petchaburi Thailand was ID'ed as H. taminatus malayana.

In A. silhetensis, spot 7 is angled inwards forming a sinuous curve of both margins of 6 & 7.

2 is likely A. eumolphus ( A. horsfieldi cannot be discounted).
HW spot 6 very broad with outer notch; spot 7 on top; postdiscal band partially dislocated at V2; FW spot 4 shifted out; costal spot 10.

    3 is likely A. atosia. HW spot 5, 6 & 7 in echelon;
FW spot 4 shifted outwards; HW spot 4 & 5 staggered, not in line.

    4. is also A. atosia. Same reasons.

    Thank you.
I must be too used to the darker spotted Samui A. silhetensis!
The A. eumpolphus/horsfieldi suprised me, but I have never seen either of these species before. It must have been a female as upperside was blue when it flew away.
I said elsewhere I have trouble with A. atosia etc.! This just confirms it.

Last post of photos from me:

LD20 - Zographetus satwa (Purple & Gold Flitter)
LD21 - Tagiades lavatus (Plain Snow Flat)
LD22 - Tagiades vajuna vajuna (Water Snow Flat) - This used to be known as T. litigiosa, but examination of the type specimen in Berlin has shown it to be T. menaka, so the next valid name must now be used.
LD23 - Euploea eyndhovii gardineri (Lesser Striped Black Crow) -CORRECTION - E. doubledayi doubledayi
LD24 - To finish off 'Snowfall in Thailand!'

LD23 is E. doubledayi & should be E. doubledayi doubledayi.

Ssp. doubledayi have broader stripes & rounder marginal spots especially at the tornal region.

Ssp evalida has narrower stripes & spots, but the 2 are very closely similar.

    E. eyndhovii have reduced & sullied stripes.

Thank you. Pisuth looks as if he has wrong photos again! I forgot to check Yutaka , sullied stripes plainly obvious with E. eyndhovii. Thank goodness I have not uploaded my new web pages yet, a few to change!
