The only Demon sized skipper with a large pale area on the underside of the forewing.
The ID is confirmed by ; on the forewing vein 5 which arise from the middle of the cross vein at the cellend is midway between vein 6 ( arising from the upper angle of cellend) and vein 4 (arising from the lower angle ).Zoom to view.
In the Demons(Ancistroides), vein 5 arise lower down the cross vein, and so is much nearer vein 4 than vein 6.

This is rather unexpected, for this very rare skipper Stimula swinhoei to be sighted in Singapore island!

Hopefully , the Butterfly Fairy will smile on us for a voucher specimen !
