Quite possible that it is an aberrant Nacaduba calauria malayica

This last one looks like an ancyra blue, but the ground colour and border pattern are different.

    Aaron ,

Yes , firstly the Ancyra Blue is about half the UFO's size and as you correctly said the base color is different and the wing border marking is different .

Further there are a number of differences if one scrutinize the two.

Yes, after close scrutiny, the two seem less alike. Thx Sunny.

Archiving this comparison of Terry's possible Nacaduba calauria malayica for future reference.

The yellow on the UFO seems to extend further up, and the placements of the black spots are different. However I cannot think of any other butt that matches. Hopefully a new butt for Singapore.
    cheers

Come to think of it, it does quite resemble T. inexpectata, a sp that was never recorded from sg before.
The yellow tornal markings match the description in C&P4.

Let's pray that the Butterfly Fairy will smile on me again , to have another date with a better specimen of this suspected Tajuria inexpectata and perhaps a A.blanka blanka too!!
