Thanks everyone for the congrats. The upperside is really beautiful, C&P4 does not really do it justice. Shame that the likelihood of getting an upperside shot is practically Nil!

I believe that most Lethe species prefer dawn and dusk, but L. mekara does not seem to visit house lights like the commoner L. europa. This one I disturbed in a dense thicket around midday, and all it wanted to do was go and hide somewhere else dark. I was chasing it around for over 1/2hr. Fortunately, it never flew far.
