A very good series, Federick. The Banded Yeoman is outstanding.

You must have a good day
Even it is common, I like the last one with the feeding action.

Lovely captures Federick! Especially the Banded Yeoman and E. andersonii. Only time I got a chance to shoot the Banded Yeoman was when I was a newbie on my first jaunt to SF. Never have a chance to shoot them since.

Thanks Richard, Yong and Bob for your kind comments.
Butts activities at CCA were low during my last two visits there.

Good harvest and nice opening wings BY shot. I still don't have chance to shoot it open winding in the wild.

Crisp shot of the banded yeoman! These things r too fast for my cam shutter. From my previous experience, butts like the knight and banded yeoman fly too fast and too high to allow for a clear photo. How did u manage this?

Great series, Federick! Interesting curly tails on the Common Posy. Looks like it just went for a perm on its tails, which are more often straight and not so curly as the specimen in your shot.
