Default Still All Quiet on the Northen Front

First outing for a week, owing to weather, VISA run and illness. Nothing much about, but did definately see a female Peacock Royal, my first example of this species.

Managed a couple of shots before the storm started. A female Arhopala alitaeus mirabella (I saw the upperside if anyone was wondering how I know its a female), and a Suastus minutus flemingi.

YUour shots are certainly improving, Les. That is a good shot of the Arhopala. The Suastus looked heavily cropped. Did you try to pick up a long zoom during your Visa run? Should be no problem getting one in Penang.

Visa run to Kota Bahru unfortunately, and no camera shops there sell long zooms. I have no choice as to where I go for the run.

Actually, the Arhopala was cropped a bit more than the Suastus, but as I said before, some turn out better than others.
