    Female Pantoporia sandaka.
    PANTO.png
Two species have the FW margin with an orange band/line and inner to it an irregular grey band.

    Pantoporia hordonia.
FW with the inner grey band broader than the orange band.
The orange band is poorly defined often reduced.
    Male.

    Female.

    Pantoporia sandaka.
FW with the inner grey band less distinct, often hemmed in by the orange bands and reduced to beads.
    Orange submarginal band well-defined.
Male with a large extension (foot) running along the lower margin (dorsum).
In addition male have a white speculum (specialised scales) on the HW which may be visible as a highlight.
    Males.

    https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/2847206710
    Females.

The females of the two are very similar but in. sandaka the orange submarginal band is cleaner & well-defined.

    Neptis leucoporos.

Two features combined readily ID this species.
1 Abdomen have a white band connecting the HW discal bands.
    2. FW lowest postdiscal spot on the lower margin (dorsum) is the smallest.

    Female Tanaecia flora.

The female T. flora flora is very variable and several forms were described in the past.
Note while the FW have some resemblance to the female godartii, the HW band is very broad.
The underside is similar to the female from Satun below.

Thanks so much Dr. Seow. Your illustrated drawings are very helpful to differentiate the look-alike species. Appreciate them.

    Cheers, SL Liew
