    This fairly typical Hyblaea constellata.
HW with 4 round orange spots
FW often with twin curved bars.

10 is too similar to this male T. strigata.

    Conclusion.

10 should be Teleclita strigata male.
Dr Schintlmeister's male strigata in Nododontidae of Thailand is the same as the JPmoth image.
    http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital...a_strigata.htm

I have also located the original descriptions of Teleclita spp. under the genus Pheosia.

There appear to be error IDs which have cause a lot of confusion.
By comparing with Dr Schintlmeister article it appear that the T, strigata in MOI should be T. grisea.

    Teleclita grisea.
Male FW with a diffuse large costal dark spot.
FW with a prominent wavy submarginal band that winds to the costa in the upper third.
HW margin mostly white in male, more shaded in female, with a dark tornal spot.

It appears that the one labelled as T. grisea is a different species.
FW more uniform; submarginal band not wavy.
HW with a uniform dark border.

No match with Dr Schintlmeister's article.

Thank you so much Dr. Seow sir for the detailed discussion. I definitely take notes of the discussion for my future expeditions. Today after so many surveys in the recent months, I came across a species, which seems interesting from its distribution. Here is the image:

    12. DSC_9662.JPG

My tentative id is Genus Chrysothyridia Munroe, 1967

It could be female Chrysothyridia invertalis (Snellen, 1877)

This finding could be in the extreme of its distribution in Assam, India since web records showed the availability of this genus and species only from Sulawesi, New Guinea, and Queensland, Australia.

Kindly look into the id of this species as there are two species listed under the genus Chrysothyridia

    Chrysothyridia invertalis
    https://v3.boldsystems.org/index.php...e?taxid=314568
    https://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.c...nvertalis.html
Distribution: Sulawesi, New Guinea, and Queensland, Australia.

    Chrysothyridia triangulifera
    https://v3.boldsystems.org/index.php...e?taxid=285995
    Distribution: Luzon, Philippines

Note: If needed, I will be able to post specimen images also as soon as they be ready from mounting and curation process.

    Cheers
