    Male Discophora sondaica zal.

    The three species in NE India.

    D. sondaica zal.
    HW rather angled at vein 4, tailed in the female.
    Underside with a twotone discal band, an inner dark band & an outer pale band
    Ground lightly variegated.

    D. timora timora.
    HW more rounded.
    Discal band rather irregular & ground marked with heavy dark striae & spots.

    Similar to D. timora but lighter.
    UnH eyespot in space 2 with white pupil.

    Female Rapala suffusa.

    Two species are rather similar.

    Rapala suffusa . Female yellower.
    UnF postdiscal band curved.
    UnH speckled patch in space 1b occupy about half the marginal space.
    UnH orange crown usually obsolete.

    Rapala damona.
    Very similar but ground more orangey.
    Unf postdiscal band curved.
    Unh speckled patch cover 80% of marginal space 1b.

    Male Jamides bochus.

    The two species J. bochus & caeruleus may look similar.

    Jamides bochus duller , markings less contrasted.
    Pale striae defining the submarginal band undulating, ie the marginal & submarginal bands are macular (spots-like).

    The male seem always to be grey, never brown.
