It is a male Potanthus .omaha


Three species recorded in Singapore have the abdominal end yellow in the male (Females have some dark shadings.)

Upperside with the veins blackened variably on both wings.
Underside with the veins lightly dark/black.

Upperside HW with the veins not darkened.

Potanthus confucius.
Upperside yellower, with the veins not blackened or lightly ochreous on both wings.
FW spots 4 & 5 usually broadly overlapping the others & forms a continuous unbroken band in the male.
Underside with spots broadly overlapping & the veins not black.
