Oh. That's Mark Wong's shot. Taken at the Hort Park Butterfly Enclosure some time ago. Back then, Penang Butterfly Farm (now renamed Entopia) supplied pupae to the enclosure. They typically supplied species that are easily bred for their own enclosure in Penang. Hence Junonia iphita was one of the species sent over here. Others are Parthenos sylvia, Athyma perius, Tirumala septentrionis and a couple of other even more exotics like Idea leuconoe clara.
The experimental enclosure has since been taken down and the butterfly garden over there is now open with free-flying local species.
Junonia iphita continues to be "extant" in Singapore as Entopia still continues to supply pupae to the Changi Airport Butterfly Garden, which is an enclosed aviary.
