    Default Manto and Mantoides?

Two weeks ago my friend Satawan Atdhabhan, from Betong (Yala), took a picture ow what we think is a Mantoides gama gama, at over 700 mt on the top of a mountain 30 Km North of Betong town.

Few days ago, during a two days stay in Betong, in another location circa 1000 mt of altitude and 50 km of distance, very close to the Malaysian border, i got a few picture of a very fast and skittish Theclinae that I ID first as a Neocheritra amrita, than as a Mantoides gama, but at a more accurate control could be a different species from the first.

The 1st is correct as Mantoides gama.
The V-mark is separated & dislocated from the inner mark.

    2nd. female Manto hypoleuca.
The V-mark (broken) is level & joined to the inner mark.

In Neocheritra, space 3 ie. above the round black spot has only a single black bar ,not two.

    TL Seow:Cheers.
