Post 90.
This one is a typical male Nacaduba kurava nemana.
The FW submarginal spots are large with rounded margins.
The HW submarginal spot 6 is large & quadrate.
TL Seow : Cheers.

Post 93 & 94.
Both Horaga albimacula & chalcedonyx occur in Singapore. Both have white forelegs.
They were included as one species in the past but are now separated.
The main difference is on the upperside.
H. albimacula : FW white patch does not extend below vein 2; wings without basal blue scaling.

H. chalcedonyx : FW white patch extend halfway below vein 2. wings with basal blue scalings.
With too few examples of the local ssp. it is diificult to separate the two.
By comparing with Les' set specimen of H. chalcedonyx yours looks like H. albimacula.
Sunny, Yours looks like H. chalcedonyx.
TL Seow : Cheers.
This is interesting. Back in 2008, when I was breeding Narrow Spark and Chocolate Royal on Eurya acuminata, I found a pupa on the same plant which eclosed to a Horaga adult. At that time, I thought it was just an Ambon onyx, and didn't think much of it. It was released back in CCA after I took some pictures of it. Now it seems that it could be H. chalcedonyx after reading Dr Seow's description of its characteristics.
Horace
Perfect! Horace, you got a male Horaga chalcedonyx. Correction female.
The upperside matches it correctly.
Note the foreleg has a few black bands but appeared mostly white in a side view.
The palpi are rather long even in the male.(Observational error.)

Congrats Horace.
I guess many of us might have shot this species already.
