    Default UFO ID needed

    Is this Opaque Sixline Blue? Thanks!

    Its a male Transparent Sixline Blue.(N .kurava)
    Although the wingbase appeared dark it is due to scale loss.
    The other points to note is the forewing submarginal band which is nicely scalloped or rounded on the inner margin. In beroe the margin is rather straight in the lower 3 spots giving them a rectangular slab-sided look.
    The dark lines/striae inside the forewing postdiscal band is also largely obsolete in beroe.

    Thanks Dr Seow for the ID. That will be interesting...currently we have no record of Transparent Sixline Blue (Nacaduba kurava)...Mr Khew, do you need specimen of this to confirm...

    A few shots by Federick earlier and I had some too. From an "urban hill park". But we didn't nab any vouchers. You know what to do if you see one again. They are always in that location.
