Almost a Malay Dartlet

When this Dartlet flew in and perched in front of me, I was ecstatic for a while, thinking that the Malay Darlet finally showed up for me.

However, it was not to be. Even though there is quite a fair bit of contrast between the dark ground color (due to wear and tear) and the orange discal patch, the shape of the orange markings is still that of a Common Dartlet.

Wow ! You are still hunting for the elusive Malay Darlet.......... I must have been damn lucky to encounter the voucher specimen and the other 3 sightings!!
