    trying out the use of 100-400mm for the tree

    Nice set of pictures KY. Mmmm, 100-400mm, looks like it served you well @ PRP. Some of the shots looked a bit dark, perhaps the flash output wasnt strong enough to illuminate the subject?

    yes. the flash output wasnt strong enough... but for it to reach 400mm..i would have risked getting the whole tree painted red!
