    I find the combination of species under the subfamily Apaturinae is very interesting, the courtesans together with the emperors, princes and courtier

    Euripus nyctelius nyctelius (Courtesan)
    This is another species that I haven't got a chance to see in Singapore, I believe it was a couple of years ago when someone sighted and shot one?
    During our stay at Chiangmai, I encountered at least one each day. I was extra happy when 2 of them appeared on our 2nd visit to Chiangdao!







    Mimathyma ambica (Indian Purple Emperor)
    The iridescent blue that appears at different angles is just amazing!
