    The underside markings are typical J. elpis.
    The different blue colour is likely some minor aberration of the reflective scales.

    PS2. Another variant of a male J. caeruleus.
    Typically the striae are dark- shaded & poorly defined. The FW postdiscal band usually have a free hanging stria.

    The darker blue & some shading of the white striae suggest J. caeruleus but the position of the straie are that of J. elpis.
    Perhaps a hybrid.
