The last two mornings have been beautifully sunny, but clouded over arround 11.00am. Yesterday, I tried the forest at my waterfall site. Waste of time, not a single photo taken, or even tried!
Today, I went up a local hill where I have come across some rarities before. I was delighted to see the Tajuria dominus again, and also Rapala iarbus, which I had not seen all year. Unfortunately, everything was very skittish and stayed high up in the trees. Nevertheless, I managed a record shot of the Tamil Oakblue (Arhopala bazaloides bazaloides), which, until now, had only been seen on Koh Pha Ngan. (Not as good as Antonio's, but a record for Samui all the same).
