Default New sighting of the Emerald in Koh Phangan

I start to see caterpillars again. And the not so rich season (butterfly speaking) start to be again interesting. Today no cats but i've met for the second time this rare and nice poritinae, just the time for 4/5 shots before it disappears in the wood. Different location and different ecosystem. The first was on mountain forest, the second close to a stream in lowland (but not so far from a big forest).

Great find, Antonio. I went looking for it last Friday, but without luck. It appears more common on KPN than here. I have only ever seen it twice in nearly 5 years!

Thank you, everybody! It's exciting for me to get out almost every morning looking for animals (mostly butts) and happy when I can find a new species or just shot a good picture!
