    Can help to ID this Lycaeninae from Fraser's Hill?

    It is a Yasoda species. I only have experience with Y. tripunctata, which is not found in Malaysia, so I can not say for sure whether it is Y. pita dohertyi or Y. pitane laruta. From the darkness of the orange, I would tend for the latter, though it is much the rarer of the two, but I will let someone who knows both species to confirm which.

    It is Y. pita dohertyi.

    The black & white marginal lines run from the long tail (at vein 1b) to the weak tooth at vein 2 above.
