Quite a beautiful moth.
Quite a beautiful moth.

Noctuidae, Arctiinae, Arctiini - Nyctemera adversata
this species is involved in a mimicry ring with Pieris spp. - it's flight pattern is so similar to that of P. canidia that I can't tell the two apart from a distance.
cheers, Roger.

I've seen it in Hanoi. At first I thought it was a butterfly, then I saw the antenna. Later it flew off just like a butt.
cheers

Beautiful indeed!
Butterfly dogs don't like baths. They only like to puddle... in their own pee!
