    Default Sunny's Semanga Spot 3/6

Day 5, and the last organised trip. It was well worth it!

    1) Elymnias panthera panthera (Tawny Palmfly)
    2) Surendra vivarna amisena (Acacia Blue)
3&4) Tanaecia iapis puseda (Horsfield's Baron, male & female)
5&6) Semanga superba deliciosa (The Red-Edge) - I prefer Anthony's name for this, the Super Delicious!

Also photographed Logania marmorata damis (The Pale Mottle), but pics not good enough!

    Les .

The open wing shot of the "Super Delicious" is ...the best I have seen so far!

Thank you, Sunny. The fact is that I would not have considered that location as one one to investigate. I have learnt from that. It was all down to you.

I was very surprised and elated when I got the upperwing photos back home.
I must admit that I was very shocked to see what I had captured and I must admit that, with my limited photographic experience, I do not expect my photos to be up to the quality of other members, but this one turned out just great. (Pure luck)

Your Tawny Palmfly is better than my collections. I have not shot any of it that sharp. Poor me..

The open winged "super delicious" shot is indeed beautiful as with the partial open winged one.
