Was hunting around near the boardwalk at Changi when I disturbed a big group of yellow butterflies which "exploded" around me (had I not been experienced enough I would have thought it was a swarm of wasps!). The first photo shows only a small part of the group, which settled back on the ferns soon after; the others flew agitatedly around before eventually settling back but my camera battery went flat then. Just wondering what species this is and if it is generally common for butterflies to gather in such groups in the evening.
