    Only a short trip today (clouds closed in), but saw a few nice species.

    First off, an upperside shot of a female Horaga syrinx maenala. I don't think one has been shown before here, at least there is not a photo in the checklist. Note the larger white forewing spot. Not the best photo in the world, but it is something different!

    Second, a 'petticoat' shot of a female Tajuria cippus cippus.

    Thanks. The Horaga looks better when reduced in size! Could not see the Tajuria though.

    The Tajuria is added here, not in the usual Singapore checklist (I guess you're looking at that). We have sub-species maxentius down here.

    Thanks. You are quite right, looking in wrong place. I had better look for another male then (have a photo but a bit out of focus at tail end), as you don't have one!
