    Default Rainy day butt

One of 8 shots of a female Common Mormon when I was trying out the 10fps on the Mk III. Still not too good, as I forgot to increase the shutter speed. This was defaulted at 1/300s but still not enough to freeze the wingtips.

If shoot without flash, any significant difference? Such as colors?

Defaulted at 1/300 secs? What do you mean? Can it go faster than 1/300 secs for flash sync?

If shoot without flash, since the background is very much brighter (it was a full sunny day), the dark wings in shadow will not have much detail.

The Mk III / 580EX II combo can synchronise up to the maximum shutter speed of the Mk III. However, it must be set on the flash to go to the High Speed Synch, otherwise it will default to the flash's normal synch speed of 1/300s.

Jump ship? No... left hand hold D2X, right hand hold 1D MkIII. Then shoot same butt at the same time.
