Was at BTNR from 11 plus to 2 plus. After a short passing showers around noon, the weather turned sunny and hot. Quite a number of butts were spotted between 1 to 2 pm. Met Richard at the Visitor Centre when I was about to leave. Shortly after I left, it was raining cats and dogs again.
1.Tagiades spp - not tall enough to shoot the upperside.
2.Pseudocoladenia dan dhyana (Fulvous Pied Flat) -- at last my first encounter of this species and a +1 for me.
3. Plastingia naga (Chequered Lancer)
4.Zeltus amasa maximinianus (Fluffy Tit) - Quite a number of them
5. Eooxylides tharis distanti (Branded Imperial)
6. Euploea radamanthus radamanthus (Magpie Crow)
Other butts spotted : Malay Baron, Plain Nawab, Common Birdwing, Elbowed Pierrot, The Quaker, Common Line-Blue, many Yellows.
