    That's a pristine bugger. Looks like just eclosed. I wonder if the host plant is nearby.

    Not sure of the host plant. This butt is so fretish and was practically hopping from branch to branch. I only manage this shot before it took off.

    Looks like the lighiting was a challenge but you control your flash pretty well.

    nice 1 richard. so suppose if i were to shoot in jpeg, the wb i should use is flash since the primary light source is from flash?

    I think the best solution is to use AWB as Canon's AWB is fairly accurate. But if you can get a copy of Adobe Lightroom or the Japanese SilkyPix, both these program can tweak JPEG's WB as well as many other tweaks that you perform during RAW conversion.

    Adobe lightroom....hmmm..ok...i tot CS2 shd be more powerful than this. Will go and reserach and solve my WB problem.
