    Default Common (How many?!) Ring

Taken at an offshore island today. So what species is this? I encountered a specimen nearly 5 years ago, and as luck would have it, I stumbled on one such specimen again today.

Heh heh... unfortunately, it's just a Common Five Ring with an extra small ocellus in space 4. This is described in C&P4 page 135 at the end of the first paragraph under the Common Five Ring description.

So unfortunately, it's a "common" species. But since this variant is not often encountered, it's still a rare shot for me.
