Is this a rare one?

Saw this butterfly for the first time. Have checked Khew's website and believe it's a Loxura atymnus fuconius. Is this a rare butterfly Singapore?

nope, the yamfly is quite common in the nature reserve, esp. outside the range station at SF

I wouldn't consider Yamfly common. Branded Imperial is common, Yamfly is not.
In butterfly-speak Yamfly it is not uncommon and it is seasonal.
