    Default Jamides ferrari - check ID

    This is from Thaleban NP, Satun, s Thailand. 26 Jun 24.
    I note the innermost pair of striae on the hindwing are unbroken.
    Is this ID correct please?

    This should be Jamides cunilda. (previously as J. virgulatus.)


    A. UnH with the white striae of the innermost band not dislocated ,at least aligned on one side.

    A1 J. abdul .
    FW with the post discal band curved & not broken at vein 6.
    Fw costa without white striae (forming a spot) above the cellend band,

    FW postdiscal band broken at vein 6.
    FW costa without any white spot/dashes above the cellend band.
    UnH orange patch not merging with the white stria above it, being separated by a dark line.

    A3. Jamides cunilda.
    FW postdiscal band broken at vein 6.
    FW costa may have a white spot or dashes above the cellend band.
    UnH orange patch large, merging & partially covering the white stria above it.

    Many thanks for the notes and explanations. These Jamides are certainly a very confusing lot giving a lot of headaches.
