    Just to clarify,

    A) Do you mean the id is M.druna or M.cresta? Or id is M.druna?

    Tanaecia godartii.
    Male.

HW blue band relatively narrow, tapers slightly upwards.
FW blue band fairly straight, often inner border smooth with less irregularity.
FW & HW bands almost always lined up at rest.
Underside FW with a dark line that is nearer the margin at the upper end.

Tanaecia iapis (currently should be cocytina.)

FW blue band irregular often curved with jagged margin.
    HW blue band broad throughout.
FW & HW bands do not align well.
Underside FW dark line absent or vague.

    Tanaecia flora.
Note T. flora only occur from about Ipoh northwards .
ssp. andersonii in Kedawi have heavier dark margins but the whole population up north is very variable .
Langkawi do not have Tanaecia flora. (Check distribution in C&P4/5 & Fleming's BOWM&S.

All forms of female have blue bands.
FW blue band fairly straight & margin not as jagged as in iapis. Blue band often ends abruptly.
HW blue band broad at the tornus, tapering noticeably upwards.
FW & HW bands align fairly well at rest.
Underside FW dark line diffuse often much zigzagged.
    Underside HW outer area paler.

    Female.

    Note.
All ypur Penang observations looks to be T. godartii.
All Langkawi observations are T. flora .
Langkawi only have T. flora & godartii.

    TLSeow: Cheers.
