Dr Seow, I keyed this down to Parnara bada. Could it be anything else?

Yes. It is definitely a male Parnara bada.
Short antennae with thick clubs; FW subapical spots in line; no FW cellspot;
HW with an irregular series of spots ;a spot is present at the cellend near the origins of veins 3 & 4 in this individual (more often absent).
TL Seow: Cheers.
Thanks for the confirmation, Dr Seow
