    FW postdiscal band (often spots) not approaching the submarginal band.
    HW tornal lobe marked with a black-lined white bar.

    6. Arhopala major.
    The markings are as for the amphimuta group.
    There s a weak white spot on the HW tornal cilia but this can occur in both amphimuta & major.
    The V spot in space 1b is J -shaped characteristic of A. major.

    The other three, amphimuta, moolaiana & norda have a well-formed V spot.

    7. Koruthaialos rubecula rubecula.

    Ther band is very variable.
    In some case it does not reach the bottom ending at vein 2.
    This is similar to the 2nd male from Ranong.
