Dr Seow,
Any idea on the species ID of this tiny moth (about 3.5mm long)? I suspect that this is some kind of snout moth.

Several species are world wide pest on coconut, sago cotton,etc.

The larva of this particular specimen fed on seeds of Nepenthes gracilius.

Correction: They are not considered as pests being scavengers on damaged flowers & foliage.

Indeed, the moth I observed has strong resemblance to Pyroderces badia.
