Owing to the number of unidentified hesperids found, I feel it is sensible to open a seperate thread for this familly, otherwise I think the main FH thread would become rather confusing, as happened with the Sulawesi trip.

The ones I can identify!

1&2) Idmon obliquans
3&4) Odontoptilum angulatum angulatum (Chestnut Angle?) on a camouflage background!
5) Koruthaialos rubecula

Three Halpe species:

1&2) Possible Halpe flava?
3&4) Possible Halpe insignis?
5&6) Possible Halpe pelethronix or H. wantona?

2) Pithauria stramineipennis stramineipennis
3&4) Pithauria sp?

Post 3.

1&2 Halpe toxopea.(Big upper cellspot & light yellowish band.)

3 & 4 Halpe zema (Band yellowish & tornal part narrowed & angled prominently.)
H. insignis have no band.

5 . Halpe veluvana( spot 2 & 3 yellow & widely overlapping)
6 is a different butt. with the forewing intact, probably H. pelethronix/wantona.

3 & 4. Upperside that of P. marsena male.

re Post 3 (Halpe), I thought I would be mainly wrong, as it is 1/2 out of 3 was worse than I expected. I think I may have chosen the wrong underside for 6 (too many Halpe in the same place!). Is the one below H. veluvana? On further examination, it looks a bit more ochraceous, and it was taken immediately after the upperside shot.

re Post 4 (Pithauria), pics 3 & 4 are the same specimen, so the oddly coloured underside is still P. marsena then?
