Thank you Dr. Seow for the precise identifications.
Udara rona is not reported for Thailand (Pisuth Ek-Amnuay 2012). Could be a new entry?

Wow! This is a surprise.
I have look at CD27 for a long time & it does not look like U. placidula/cyma which have spot 7 larger & prominently darker than the other spots.
This leaves only dilecta & rona & it does not look like dilecta.
There is a hint of dark blue on the upperside.
Still a full upper is necessary for confirmation
Subspecies catius is the race in peninsular Malaysia.

Sorry Fed, but 33 is Thoressa masoni. Do not go by Pisuth's pictures of the species, they are very poor. I saw one that I suspected may have been the Salanoemia and hoped had a +1 but realised, when I got the photos back home that I was wrong. No. 40, I am not so sure about (3 subapical spots on the uppersde forewing?).
CD 33 & CD 40. Thoressa masoni.
CD 37. Curetis acuta. Note HW postdiscal band in space 5 & 6 are straight & in line.
CD 38. Telicota ?bambusae. HW veins not darkened; ?greenish tinge to HW.
CD 39. Ancistroides nigrita. Stimula has only the FW outer area paler.

Orchid Mantis not a butt but just this insect over there ;-)
I have to admit you have a good point here.
When I first check thru argiolus all the valid images were from Europe or USA.
They have the submarginal lunulate markins obsolete or very poorly defined, & a white ground colour.
However, I have check up ssp lynteana & it does have submarginal lunules. Fig. 1o below.

Undeniably the spots/markings could match dllecta, rona or argiolus.
CD27 have a strong dingy brown underside.
I have not seen any example of C argiolus with this colour.
Still, given the wide variaton possible in any of these species, the ID is still dodgy.
Perhaps, I was too intent on separating dilecta & rona.
C. argiolus is still in the picture, but I would love to see a valid pic of it with this dingy underside first.
TL Seow : Cheers.
Great shots from everyone but don't seem to see LC Goh's shots as yet, still PS'ing :)
