guessed it skipped away?
That's a Hoary Palmer.
no lens  sold the T-180 and getting a C-180
lol so uncle sunny change to c180 yet? or still sticking to ye old t180
I cannot imagine, 1D3 with C180. leathel weapon!
Cheers!
New Price for both lens as of 27th Feb with price increasing of Canon factored in :
C180 $2180
T180 $1080
Which one will you pick in hard time like this??
Both lens are equally sharp with the T180 having a slight edge in edge sharpness and bokeh due to a narrower FOV.
Both lens are equally slow in AF in comparison with other lens when they have to search through the whole 180mm . With Canon having an edge on AF due to the ring USM and a range limiter.
Pros and cons :
C180 build quality , faster focus, double the Price of T180.
T180 two for the prices of one, plastic construction , slower focus .
$$ is always a factor , those who said $$$ is no factor are just hypocritical!;P So in terms of cost performance, a rational decision is the T180.
