It was a very fruitful trip for those who had visited Kampar over the weekend with great food and many rare butts.
Many thanks to LC aka Caveman and CM aka Common mime for showing us around the butts hot spots, sharing a few rare species here:
1. banded peacock
2~4. dragon tail
5. banded peacock
6. Polyura delphis concha (Jewel Nawab)

Jewel Nawab is Polyura delphis concha. The green of the open winged Banded Peacock looks different from what I know of it. Something to do with the angle of light and flash?
That's a nice butt peeing shot you have there of the Dragontail as well. :bsmile:

What fantastic shots. Love the White Dragontail, Lamproptera curius, strange that it is supposed to be the rarer of the two dragontails, but is the one I see more often.
I am trying to get the Papilio palinurus (Banded Peacock) at an angle where the colours turn blue, but not managed it yet, but trying. Beautiful shot.
Finally, the Polyura species is most definitely NOT P. athamas. I believe that it is Polyura delphis ssp. (Jewelled Nawab). Wish I had it up my way!
