My Central American friend

My regular visitor from C. America (Dryas julia) turned up again today, so I thought I'd share with you the male upper and underside. I know I haven't shown the male underside before, as I had no photos on file until today.

Also, a pleasant shot of a female Jamides alecto ageladas, showing her hindwig spots. I've been trying to convince myself that it is J. abdul abdul as that would have been a +1, but I don't think so. However, I am very willing to be proved wrong:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: .:bsmile:

Finally, a shot which should not really be here, but it is not worth starting a separate thread for. A poor very distant shot of an 8 winged Dragonfly for your amusement!
