2 UFOs at MNT
Went to MNT on on two consecutive afternoons to hunt for what Horace has shot but all in vain. However, shot a large skipper, but definitely smaller than the Giant Redeye (Gangara thyrsis thyrsis ) this afternoon. C&P is not with me at the moment, you guys can help to ID it. BTW, saw two of them, but can only manage one and only one shot.
The Arhopala spp was shot yesterday. Hope the the long-range upperside shot cann help to ID this bugger.

The hesperid looks like Gangara lebadea lebadea (male) to me. You may wish to check.

 That purple band again. Horace shot one earlier at the same location with the same markings, so guys let's  the re-discovery of Species #279 for Singapore - Gangara lebadea lebadea.
Do keep a lookout for this fella in that area. :) Any fast-flying dark skipper zipping around the bushes is game.
