Ypthima confusa

Dear Dr. Seow!!!

I took this Ypthima spp at an elevation of 22224metres,can this be Ypthima confusa la.

I think this is correct as Ypthima confusa.


The author Shirozu states of the two species.

Y. confusa. ground colour yellowish with brown striations.
HW ocellus 6 & FW ocellus subequal ie of varying difference in size.


Y. newara; Ground colur whitish with greyer striations.
HW ocellus 6 more often larger than the FW ocellus.
