The two species can be very difficult to ID based on the underside.
1. Probably A. phidippus ;HW 4th band is narrow but barely notched.
2. Probably A. phidippus perhaps with mixed genes. HW 4th band flare upwards like a trumpet (usual of A phidippus) but have a few notches.
A. phidippus :HW 4th band typically increased in width upwards & sides not notched by the veins.

A friderici holmahunti form utana.
HW 4th band narrow throughtout except the head at the upper end may be wider, sides notched by the veins.
Form utana is very dark , the male is almost black, the female dark brown with dusky orange subapical cross band.
