View Full Version : For Horace : Taractrocera mummy

Horace, some shots for you, hopefully, if you manage to successfully breed the egg found today and record the early stages of this species. :)

First two shots are of the mummy Taractrocera archias quinta. The mating pair was shot some time last year at USR with Bobby and Ellen. The background is embarrassingly smooth and studio-like though... ;P

The last shot shows the mating pair from the top, and the lack of the apiculus on the antennae. Also looks like male/female are similar in colour and markings generally.

Thanks, Khew for the pics of the female and mating pair. :)
They are definitely useful for the documentation of this species, and hopefully a future life history blog article.
