Went to Malaysia over the weekend and managed to squeezed some time to visit a forest reserve in Pahang. Here are record shots of some butterflies there. Hope I have got the ID correct.

Nice variety of butterflies James! I like the indian leaf butterfly, the upper wing is gorgeous!

Unless current opinion has changed, I believe that both the Cyrestis cocles subspecies are forms of C. cocles earli. There are two forms, C. cocles earli f. earli and f.formosa. (C&P4 p.168)

You should, full of surprises there. Saw few Rajah Brooke's BW there also, but non perched. :-(
