The download requests are much much better than my expectation (600 over clicks at freewarepocketpc.net), the sgbug 10GB bandwidth was fully utilized within few days :sweat: and I hv to redirect the traffic to another site.

And interestingly, I only posted at freewarepocketpc.net but seems like its being replicated to many other websites, I can found it at over a dozen different website using google search.

The response really give encouragement to build iPhone version. I will try to find a second-hand iPhone for testing soon :)

Henry, CKCHNG, so sorry but the iPhone version will not be avail anytime soon... After I read through the development guide for iPhone, just found out I need a Mac to develop iPhone apps...


version 1.1 (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-pocket-butterflies-singapore.html) is out for grab now.

New feature include the following:
* more photos with new contributor (still adding)
* revised write-up (work still in progress)
* GPS tagging output to Google Earth file format - double click the file in Desktop PC will open Google Earth & show the Placemark directly.

Thanks SC for taking time to check on how to make the iPhone version. I think even if you have a Mac, you may still need to purchase the kit for developing the apps...:thinking:

A minor version update upon request is available now :)

One of the changes include a quick button to switch the display butterfly Common Name / Scientific Name.

hmm, sorry for Nokia version, the next avail platform is most likely a Android (google) or iPhone, Nokia is losing their market share on the high-end phone market to the 2, and they've many version of Symbian OS...

May be can set-up a poll to see what is the phone proportion like here ;)
