there is something wierd about this BI's eye... looks like a spider is on it :sweat:

looks like terminator or some cyborg eye from some sci-fi movie to me. could it be due to old age?

Hmm I remember that some mites or harvestmen (small arachnids related to spiders and mites) often hitch a ride on insects or birds which fly, as a form of transport! Wonder if this is one of those "hitchhiker" species.

It's most likely a mite/tick, a parasite.:grin2:
